Is supplier registration mandatory?
Yes, supplier registration is mandatory for all existing and potential direct suppliers.
Do I need to fill in all the requested information?
We encourage you to fill in all of the requested data although only the fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory.
Who will have access to the information?
Information will go into TCT’s supplier profile database. Only TCT procurement professionals will have access to your unique data. This data will not be shared with any company or individuals outside of TCT The Commodity Traders.
How do I become a qualified supplier for TCT?
As a preference, we select suppliers locally, nationally and then internationally. Suppliers are selected based on our criteria and a view towards a long term relationship. Project suppliers tend to be selected on a fixed-term basis for products or services with a specific or specialized local need. To become a supplier, please register your interest online.
How much will it cost to register?
There is no charge for registering on the TCT website.
What will it involve?
Registering will require you to provide vital information about your company so that we can match your company with potential opportunities. You will be contacted should an opportunity become available which matches your company's product and/or service offering.
NOTE: Completion of the online supplier registration does not guarantee that your company will receive RFQs or POs/Subcontracts from TCT nor does it confer "Approved" status as a TCT supplier. It is the first step of the mandatory process for doing business with TCT The Commodity Traders, BV. You may be contacted in accordance with our business needs.
If we already provide services or products to TCT should we still register?
The team has likely already categorized your offering and has entered this into our database. It is not necessary for you to register again, however, if your business range or other details have changed, it is a good idea to register and update us.
What is a DUNS or D-U-N-S (Data Universal Numbering System) number?
The D&B DUNS Number is a nine-digit identification sequence, which provides unique identifiers of single business entities while linking corporate family structures together. D&B links DUNS Numbers of parents, subsidiaries, headquarters, and branches on more than 70 million corporate family members around the world.
Used by the world's most influential standards-setting organizations, it is recognized, recommended and/or required by more than 50 global, industry and trade associations, including the United Nations, the U.S. Federal Government, the Australian Government, and the European Commission.
In today's global economy, the D&B DUNS Number has become the standard for keeping track of the world's businesses.
How do I get a D-U-N-S number?
Getting your D-U-N-S Number is easy. Visit D-U-N-S Request Service to obtain more detailed instructions on applying for your D-U-N-S Number or contact the D&B Customer Support group by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.
Can a supplier be suspended or removed from TCT?
A supplier can be suspended and/or removed from TCT if they have not complied with the TCT rules, policies and procedures, this includes unsatisfactory performance, providing misleading information, and breaching the TCT conditions.
